Michelle Duggar angers neighbors by rallying to get EZ-mart beer license denied
Reality star Michelle Duggar is out of the hospital after having an emergency c-section less than two weeks ago to save her premature 19th child. (Little Josie Duggar, who was just 1 lb., 6 oz. at birth is still in the hospital but is stable and taking breastmilk.) Michelle was spotted at a public meeting for her local Alcoholic Beverage Control board spreading her puritanical wrath. Michelle and her husband, Bob, objected to a proposed beer license for a gas station in their small town of Springdale, Arkansas. According to local reports, Michelle was crying at the board meeting over the fact that some booze might invade her town. The beer permit for the EZ-Mart was denied, but they’ll probably continue to do decent business in gas since residents will have to go out of town to get their buzz on.

| Charlie Sheen arrested in Aspen, CO on Christmas Day on domestic violence charges |

Actor Charlie Sheen was booked into the Pitkin County Jail on felony domestic violence charges today, authorities in Aspen said.
He was arrested by the Aspen Police Department at 11:20 a.m. today.
Booked under his real name, Carlos Irwin Estevez, he was arrested on charges of felony second-degree assault, felony menacing and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief, according to the Pitkin County Sheriff's Department.
No details of the allegations have yet been released.
He has an $8,500 bond but must remain in jail until his first court appearance, a standard procedure, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Department.

ETA updates from TMZ -- 7:45 PM
There was contact between Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller -- but the issue will be who started it.
We're told Mueller called 911 claiming Sheen assaulted her. But we're told Sheen told law enforcement that Brooke was the aggressor and he was just fending her off.
6:42 PM Sources tell TMZ the alleged victim is Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller. Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, "Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion."

Before "The Situation" took his shirt off on "Jersey Shore" -- dude used to take his pants off for anyone willing to shove a dollar in his banana hammock.
TMZ has learned The Situation -- aka Mike Sorrentino -- was a member of the "All American Male" exotic dancer crew back before his reality show days.
We're told The Situation worked for the group -- which gyrates from New York to New Jersey -- back in 2004.
These photos were taken at a bachelorette party -- we're told The Sitch gave a "great lap dance."

According to Philadelphia Eagles players, the most courageous man on the team in 2009 was one who started the year serving time in prison for an act of extreme cowardice.
Today, the Eagles announced that Michael Vick was the 2009 winner of the Ed Block Courage Award, an honor given to a player who shows courage in the face of adversity. Vick's teammates voted for the award, thus demonstrating how tone-deaf and out-of-touch NFL players are with reality.

Peter Andre has pipped former wife Jordan a.k.a Katie Price to bag the hero of 2009 title in a survey. The Aussie singer beat fellow divorcee Jo Wood, followed by X Factor winner Leona Lewis to win the celebrity of the year crown.
Jordan, on the other hand, was named voted the most hated celebrity in Britain as she topped the annual poll of the celebrity Villains of 2009. The glamour girl was trailed by supermodel Kate Moss, drug addict Amy Winehouse and disgraced rapper Kanye West in the survey headed by Virgin Media.
"After 12 months of controversial celeb highs and lows, it's interesting for us to let the public have their say," the Daily Star quoted Alison Davis from Virgin Media, as saying. "It's obvious with the opposing leaders, Katie and Peter, both securing landslide victories, that public interest in their saga is still strong," Media added.

ACTOR Colin Morgan is most famous for playing the title role in the BBC1 fantasy adventure series Merlin, which follows the early years of the sorcerer at Camelot.
Born in Armagh, Northern Ireland, the 23-year-old has also appeared on the Catherine Tate Show and in the acclaimed Doctor Who episode Midnight in 2008.
The second series of Merlin recently ended on BBC1 and will be out on DVD in February. A third series has been commissioned and in a new interview, Colin has spoken about what's coming and also what he would like to see in the show.
